UHS Presents Medical Incident Command School

November 5, 2018 / Alain Jacon / Education & CME, Training

UHS Hospitals EMS & Trauma Services is proud to announce (in association with Co-Sponsors; the Susquehanna Regional EMS Council & Broome County Office of Emergency Services) two, eight hour
Medical Incident Command School courses featuring Jon Politis, MPA, NREMTP that will occur the first week of December, 2018.

We will be offering an eight hour day course and a two evening course as well. We do expect both courses to fill rapidly so act quickly. Learn from the best.

We will be able to accommodate 30 candidates in each course.

This course was designed by Jon Politis for us specifically and models closely the new SREMSC Best Practice Guideline titled “Medical/EMS Operations within ICS/NIMS System (No. 2018.1)” that will be distributed this coming week to all EMS agencies and providers.

We very much hope to see all EMS agency leaders and crew chiefs attend the “live sessions” in person. All of our hospital based emergency and trauma professionals are invited as well. Hope that you will be able to fit in this very important and dynamic training experience.

We are in the process of applying for eight hours of REMAC approved CME for each program.
