UVES is conducting a helicopter safety class Thursday May 27 at 1900. The course is open to all area providers and services that may be interested in participating. As a part of the course, Life Net will be landing one of their helicopters at the end of the program.
The training course will be held off site from UVES, allowing ample space for parking, classroom and landing zone. The training course will be conducted on the Huron campus, located at 1701 North Street Endicott, NY.
Parking for the Huron site can be accessed from Adams Ave. The building is located immediately west of the parking lot/rotary that will be seen.
The class is anticipated to begin at 1900 with the helicopter landing at 2000. If there are any questions, please call: 607-786-7502.

The Emergency Medicine and Trauma Teaching Day is being held on Saturday, April 17, 2010. National speakers include Dr. Roger Depue, Scott Bolleter, EMT-P, Special Agent Greg Winsor, EMT-P, RN, BSN and Lt. Col. John Groves, RN, MSN, CNS -- Trauma. The deadline for the early bird registration rate of $65 is Thursday, March 25, 2010. The fee for registration after March 25, 2010 will be $80 for EMS. Please call 607-763-6311 to register today.
